2008 Parks and Recreation Commission

      President Dino F. Bucci Jr. - Mr. Bucci has been a Macomb Township Trustee since 2000. He is currently Operations Manager with Macomb County Public Works Department. He has served as the Public Works appointee on the Parks Commission since 1997

     Vice President Betty Slinde - Ms. Slinde retired in 2004 after teaching for Roseville Schools for 33 years. She has been a County Commissioner since 1979 representing Roseville, Eastpointe and a small part of Warren.

     Secretary William J. Revoir - Mr. Revoir represented northern Clinton Township as a County Commissioner for three terms. While a Commissioner Revoir served as the Chair of the Fianance Committee and Vice Chair for the Budget Committee. He was also a member of the Health Services, Community Services, Justice & Public Safety, Personnel and Legislative, Administrative Services, and Pension Committees. He also served as a Board Member for the Macomb YMCA for four years. Revoir continues to be involved in the community serving as president of the Macomb County Jail Ministry, and as a Board Member of the Macomb Homeless Coalition.

     Sergeant-At-Arms Phillip A. DiMaria - Mr. DiMaria is a County Commissioner representing the City of Eastpointe. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Finance Committee and a member of the Budget, Personnel, Planning and Economic Development and Operational Services Committees. Previously, he served as chairman of the Justice and Public Safety Committee for 11 years. He is a retired Troy Police Officer serving 30 years with many awards and commendations for his service.

     Anthony J. Lipinski -Mr. Lipinski is Parks and Recreation Director for Roseville. He is a member of the Michigan Recreation and Parks Association and the National Recreation and Parks Association. He is a C.P.S.I. - Certified Playground Safety Inspector and a C.P.R.P. - Certified Parks and Recreation Professional.

     Timothy M. Malone - Mr. Malone is a Probation Officer with the Michigan Department of Corrections, Macomb County Probation Office. He is a representative for the Schoenherr-Moravian Homeowners' Association.

     Anthony V. Marrocco - Mr. Marrocco is a statutory member of the Macomb County Parks & Recreation Commission, by virtue of holding office as Macomb County Public Works Commissioner. His other duties as Public Works Commissioner include supervision of the county drain program, management of the Macomb County Wastewater Disposal District and Administration of the County Soil Erosion Control Program. He also oversees the review of subdivision plats for drainage requirements and directs an Environmental Education Program in Macomb County schools.

     Bill Peterson - Mr. Peterson is Chairman of the Macomb County Planning and Economics Commission. He has been an International Rep for 16 years and has been a member of the Macomb/St. Clair Workforce Board since 1994. He presently works in the education and, health and safety departments for the UAW and is a longtime member of the Governor's Committee, the Council for Labor and Economic Growth.

    Marvin E. Sauger - Mr. Sauger is a County Commissioner for District 2 in Warren.

     Robert M. Sawicki - Mr. Sawicki is a retired Public Works Superintendent for the City of St. Clair Shores. He also served as County Commissioner for two years for District 23 serving parts of St. Clair Shores and Eastpointe. Currently, Mr. Sawicki is Vice Chair of the Road Commission.

    Ruthie Stevenson - Ms. Stevenson was a Union Representative for Ford Motor Company and was the facilitator for the Harassment Program teaching over 4,000 employees. She also helped to create the Diversity Program with Cornell University for Ford Motor. She is a Board Member for the Macomb YMCA and a member of the LLC Committee for United Way.
